Bradenton, FL – 5/18/26 Bradenton stands at a historic crossroads, and the decisions we make now will determine whether our city merely grows or rises into the great future it is capable of achieving. At a time when new challenges are emerging, old problems still demand answers, and major changes are taking place across our community, the need for bold, serious, and forward-looking leadership has never been greater. With the construction of a new police station to better support our men and women in law enforcement and strengthen public safety for the future, Bradenton is laying the groundwork for a stronger and more secure tomorrow. At the same time, the positive momentum building throughout our city has created the opportunity for a true renaissance, one that can elevate the quality of life for residents, strengthen our neighborhoods, and move Bradenton into a new era of growth, promise, and prosperity. But a moment this important cannot be met with complacency. It must be met with leadership that has vision, courage, and the determination to solve real problems. We need new ideas to address traffic, infrastructure, neighborhood concerns, and to support the Face It and Fix It initiative while advancing an agenda that moves our great city forward. That is why I, Keith Green, am proud to announce my candidacy for the Bradenton City Council Ward 4 seat, so that I can help lead this new era of change and ensure Bradenton’s future is as strong and bright as its people deserve. For the past four years, I have had the honor of serving the City of Bradenton as a Planning Commissioner, working to improve the quality of life for our residents and help shape the future of this community in a thoughtful and responsible way. In that role, I have seen firsthand both the promise of our city and the challenges that still require strong and effective leadership. That service has only deepened my belief that Bradenton’s best days are still ahead, but only if we are willing to meet this moment with purpose and conviction. I am seeking this office because I believe Ward 4 deserves a strong voice, fresh energy, and a leader fully committed to building a safer, stronger, and more vibrant Bradenton for every resident and every family who calls this city home. Together, as one Bradenton, we can rise above division and unite behind solutions, progress, and a shared vision for the future. We can speak with one strong and resounding voice and declare that this city will not stand still, that it will move forward with strength, confidence, and pride. Bradenton is the Friendly City, but it is also a city of resilience, opportunity, and enormous promise, and I believe with all my heart that our greatest days are still ahead. I humbly ask for the support of the people of Ward 4 and all Bradenton residents as we come together to build a better city, a stronger city, and a lasting future for generations to come.
